Kent destroyed our amazing co-parenting as a divorced family. We got along with peace and respect and our kids were doing so well as we entered this challenging change. Then, Kent met with my ex-husband and his new relationship and destroyed any positive face-to-face interaction as co-parents. My ex-husband went from attending our children's events together, parent/teacher conferences together, and birthdays together to refusing to even speak to me in public. Kent then made completely untrue implications based on previous therapy sessions with me to my ex's new relationship. It wasn't even a confidentiality break, it was just made up lies. His influence completely ruined a healthy and positive co-parenting relationship where adults acted like adults and it has not been good for our children. He has a terrible memory but thinks he is perfect. He acts like he and his relationships are on a pedestal. He is demeaning and self-righteous.

Kent is an amazing therapist. He helped to save our marriage, he helped me with my PTSD and anxiety, and is helping with my Postpartum depression and anxiety care. He is caring, understanding, straightforward, and kind. I would highly recommend him.

I began meeting with Kent when I separated from my wife about 4 years ago. I had met with a few other counselors before and never felt like it was beneficial at all. It was a pretty radical change when I started working with Kent, he brought all the right things to the surface and had a great way of helping me work through them peacefully. I will gladly continue to work with him and encourage others to do the same.

Does this provider always take that extra step to make you feel special?
Not really, I've never seen them go above and beyond

My wife started seeing him for reasons I didn't know about. It wasn't until I fOund out she was involved with my sisters husband that I knew why and went with her to see him. I thought it was just innapropriate conversation that led to kissing, and for months we saw him while I thought that about my wife. Then, I find out the hard way that it was sexual, and that she also has been cheating on me for years with multiple guys, including family and who I thought was my best friend. It was hard, and I could not have made it without him. My wife was abused by her grandfather and never told anyone. So he helped her as well. But then the visits started getting too casual with him. We would chit chat with him for the hour, and be paying him and getting nothing. Then, I found out the father of the man that she was sleeping with was stalking her and she told kent about it and he told her to lie to me about it. I really disagree with that advice and never saw him again. He helped save my marriage and help my wife through years of pain and bad decisions from abuse, but there comes a point when you need to stop seeing him, and that's way sooner than when he thinks.

Kent has been my therapist for 16 years. My first session with him was when I was 14 when abuse occurred in our family. He has blessed my life & the life of my family immensely. I don't think I would have made it through my very difficult times without him. He is a father-like figure to me. He is kind, patient, and leads you to figuring out the answers for yourself. He takes your interests & familiarities, and designs a plan accordingly. I feel Kent is particularly great with OCD, and ADD aspects. I have been so lucky to have found him to help me through my life.

Kent Allen is an outright fraud of a family therapist. He single-handedly destroyed our marriage with his quack theories. During our sessions he blatantly lied to my face repeatedly. The average bartender is a better family therapist than he is.
