Marla goes above and beyond with her professionalism and care. I have always appreciated her knowledge and she has given me thoughtful ideas to apply to my personal life.
I would never recommend a Marla Clouse as any kind of therapist. She is dishonest, she has broken a Hyppa law, allegedly. With me, how disappointing to find out that the person you would share very intimate things with would not take it seriously, her oath? She embellishes things about her. I have a brain injury, and I lost a son to suicide, 23 years old. I have found a new therapist and hopefully I can trust. Marla Clouse set back my grieving process and gave me very bad advice. I hate to give anyone a bad review, but this is different. She took advantage of the situation, I live right next-door to her now, I regret moving here, but I have a two-year lease to fulfill. I had to make a complaint to the board that takes care of social workers and therapists. I did not do this very lightly, I thought long and hard before I made the complaint. I so wish that I had chosen a different therapist in the very beginning. She took advantage plain and simple. When I no longer wanted to see her as a therapist, things were heated in the conversation and she said to me“ it’s your illness”?? I have a brain injury. The courts have given me disability on the fact of my brain injury. I have a good doctor, and at least he knows what is going on. She drinks wine constantly, I have never seen her drink anything but coke and wine. I feel like she is a alcoholic and needs to get help before somebody gets hurt, I worry that if someone is suicidal can she take care of it? I am wondering now because she seem to be very sleepy during our zoom sessions that I wonder now is she drinking during her working hours? If you need help, please go to a reputable place so you don’t waste your time here with Marla Clouse. Behavior Health is not a good facility, that is where she works. Be blessed!
