Serious attitude problem. Not professional. Not respectful. Makes belittling, insulting comments. Rude but says things with a smile and so cheerfully it's hard to tell at first. Shrugged off (with an actual shrug or wave of his hand) serious topics I wanted to talk about, as if they weren't important enough to discuss. Doesn't seem to know much about activities offered by his center and doesn't seem to like them. Didn't seem familiar with topics in books I've read that he has on his shelf--apparently they're just for show, so people think he's up-to-date with things.
Seems like a very unhappy, angry person who hates the world. If that's the way you are, then maybe he's a great therapist for you. But for me, I can find people like that in a bar or on the street any time. I expect a lot more understanding and respect when I'm paying for it. Even after several visits I couldn't figure out how he could possibly help me with the challenges I've been facing. He doesn't seem like any sort of therapist at all.
