My memory of Harrison Memorial pet hospital started when my dog Moose needed a TPLO surgery and I was so worried about the cost because I was medically retired. Then after I told them of my financial situation they discounted my bill. I was so grateful and so was my Moose.

We have always received quality, affordable health care for our pets and they practice what I call budget conscious medicine. They seem to understand that most pet owners can't afford to provide their animals with all sorts of expensive tests that fall into the realm of "academic pursuits, and nice to have information", but unaffordable to most pet owners, and are willing to try the conservative, inexpensive route first with only must have procedures to arrive at a diagnosis/treatment. We are not veterinarians, but it seems that other clinics, by factoring those tests as a requirement for a treatment protocol just to "turn the registers" in fact end up limiting the health care that their patients need. In a perfect world, sure...but to most people, it is just not doable and only the pets suffer

we were very happy with the care that we were given, the staff and doctor were kind and took the time with us on sickness and she did get better soon after her visit
