Very rude woman. She didn't have the proper muzzle for my shihtzu so she used one meant for a cat, which was too small & tight. My sweet Bentley had to bite his tongue because he couldn't open his mouth to pull it back in & his little nose was smashed against the muzzle so breathing looked difficult. I don't appreciate being expected to help hold him down during the exam. The (better/more professional) vet I go to now has signs posted in exam rooms that say it's against insurance policy to assist in restraining pets during exams. She talked down to me & tried to tell me my dog's allergies were my own fault. Don't waste your time & energy on this place. Go down the road to Admiral Vet in Farragut instead.

Dr Kara is awesome! Down to earth & a straight shooter. She & the staff are very caring and knowledgeable. It's not a glamorous office, but that's why her prices are so good. She's moving soon to a new location, which I'm extremely thankful is not far from this one. I highly recommend Loudon County Animal Hospital

I feel very blessed that I found Kara!! She is amazing! Our dog had seen many vets and none seemed good enough to find what was wrong with him. She dug deep and found the root of the problem and his health condition. We have a sense of relief knowing that he is in good hands.

I've always allow my pets to "tell" me if they are happy and secure in any situation I place them in. I've been places before where they were frightened and sensitive to the tension in the environment as I have been. Needless to say, I did not place them or myself in that situation again. From my very first visit to Dr. Kara, they were very calm and compliant entire time and I could tell the staff really care about everyone who visits them. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. I have complete confidence in their ability to successfully diagnose and treat my pets with any ailment they might have. They've handled everything from annual shots to complicated illnesses, and recently euthanasia of my constant companion for the last 16 years. It was very comforting for myself and my dog to share his transition in a loving, familiar environment.. They were absolutely amazing and have created an inviting place that all my dogs love to visit. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The staff was very caring an gentle. I have 2 small Yorkies an they were extra careful an really seemed to care about the dogs health. I feel confident that what ever happens in the future that they can take care of the problem.
I highly recommend Dr. Kara as a wonderful vet.

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance

Not at all! I've never seen my pet so calm. They really have a gift with animals here.
