Dr. Wolverton intentionally caused my cat severe pain. This was many years ago (1986), but reporting this incident to the state veterinary licensing board back then brought no results. I recently looked for Dr. Duane Wolverton on the internet recently, and was surprised to find he is still practicing. When I was living east of Orofino in 1986 (my last name was Osburn then), my neutered male cat Smokey became unable to urinate, and I was concerned that he might have a bad bladder infection. I brought him to Dr. Wolverton's clinic on Highway 12. Dr. Wolverton and his assistant held Smokey on his back, and Dr. Wolverton said something like “This will tell us” and gave Smokey a hard jab in the middle of his lower abdomen. That was 25 years ago—but I still remember my cat’s scream and the details of that cruelty.

We had to put our two dogs down within two months fo each other.
Duane has seen them though their lives (16 yrs) . We will miss them. Thank you for all you've done over the years.

Dr. Wolverton and his staff are by far the best!! We've taken all our animals to them for the past 16 yrs. that we've lived here. He has made after hour calls and visits to our home to accomadate our animals, I don't know of any vet that still does that!
