Dr. Smitherman is very compassionate and a highly competent vet. He understands cats completely (having owned multiple cats himself). And I insist on seeing him specifically whenever I need to bring in my elderly cats. Last year I had to make a difficult decision and Dr. Smitherman and his techs/assistants were very accomodating and kind to me. They understood my grief. I will continue to seek out Dr. Smitherman at the Animal Care Center. The facilities were very clean and the staff was professional.

My pet hates going to the vet so I was very relieved that I was allowed to stay with my pet throughout the appointment. They really make an effort to make sure that the pets are comfortable and happy at all times, which in turn makes me very happy as well. Let me just say that this business is in one of the safest areas around and you will be pleasantly surprised at how lovely the surroundings are. I was pleased with the good condition of their equipment. Everything seemed safe and current, and I knew my pet was in good hands. They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question.

They weren't very understanding or caring, and they didn't show empathy for my situation. I could tell I wasn't their primary concern. It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. The Dr. made a wrong diagnosis and wouldn't change his opinion even after he was aware he had made a mistake. I wouldn't go back .
