I recently drove from the lowcountry of SC, about 3 and a half hours away, for my dog to have an appointment. Dr. Bledsoe is the best vet I've encountered. He is thorough, explains everything well, and is transparent / reasonable with pricing. His office doesn't have that corporate feel. His assistant is helpful as well.

We have been visiting Dr. Bledsoe for several years, and have 6 Boston Terriers. Dr. Bledsoe has also looked after 2 litters of Boston Terrier puppies we have brought to him, so has cared for 17 of our dogs. He is a very kind veterinarian, and loves our pets. I have always been greeted with smiles by the friendly staff there. We have always received excellent care at a reasonable price. Dr. Bledsoe takes the time to show you the complete physical, as he explains what he is looking for. He has electronic equipment so you can hear the heart, and see the insides of the ears. The staff has always been warm and polite. We once had to wait longer than usual in the waiting room, but realized when the people who were in the room prior to us came out tearfully and carrying an empty dog carrier, that they had just had their elderly and sick dog euthanized. You can't rush that. When two of our Bostons became ill, they were treated with the appropriate medications and responded quickly. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Bledsoe and his staff.

I accompanied my daughter today, with her sweet dog, Kate Spade. Kate is a Pit Mix. From the moment we walked into this VERY HOT, depressing, dirty, gloomy, non Pet friendly office, i immediately said to my daughter, i do not feel comfortable here. There was a young guy behind the desk that looked down at Kate as soon and we walked in, never saying a word. He never spoke to either of us and just walked to the back.. After 25 to 40 minutes, i stepped to another part of the office to get his attention and told him we were there for our appointment. He just looked dazed and said ok. Be with u soon. No paper work ask of us. No hello, no smiles. And we were the only ones ripple there, besides a customer in the back. Kate sat quietly, licking us and trying to stay occupied while panting profusely!! After a moment a man walked in with his Labradoodle and immediately the boy said come on in here with Kate. As if she didn’t want Kate around the other patient. But Kate walked slowly over to the Labradoodle, they sniffed each other kissed and Kate went politely into the other HOT depressed room. Still no personnel spoke to Kate. After another 30!minutes i had to leave my daughter. I got all the way home in NC 30 minutes away and no one still had not seen her. When they did come into the room, Kate barked twice when the door was opened and the young guy slammed the door and came back with a muzzle. Then the Vet told my daughter because of her bark she was aggressive and could be fined. I’m so upset by this experience and so is she. I will be contacting 7 on Your Side!!!! This place needs to be shut down!

we have been visiting Dr. Bledsoe and his team since we got our dog 4 years ago and have received the utmost good care and advice, it is always a pleasent experience going to see them and we and our dog are lucky to have them here in Spartanburg. Highly recommended!!

Yes the doctor and staff went above and beyond for our girl when everyone else pushed us away. Our 13yr old baby girl Sheba had a tumor the size of a football. The other vets said they wouldn't do surgery because of her age and if was best if we just put her down. So we found Dr.Bledsoe, a kind and truly caring doctor. He never said no, he didn't push us away. He to a look at her and told us that the sooner we get the tumor out the better.I thank the Lord every day for that man and his staff. Our baby girl lived 3 more happy and healthy yrs after her surgery. When she wouldn't have if it wasn't for them.
