i absolutely love dr doles, he's very caring and understanding, however, with that said his staff on the other hand are not so kind, they turned away my sons dog after telling him to come in, once they got her there with swollen anal glands, that she had been treated there for before, they said they can't treat her since she hasn't been there in 2 years, we have 4 dogs, we don't just take them in unless they need to have something done, i didn't know there was a rule that you had to go in even if you don't have a problem? i just had my other 2 in there and spent 200.00 on them! and this is not my first run in with the staff, they wouldn't let me bring in my papion till late in the day and as a result she had to be put down! I will continue to see dr doles because he is great! am going to have to figure out how to deal with the staff!

My cat, Nikki, was having some severe drooling issues. Dr. Doles had never met me or Nikki before, as this was our first visit. I was sick of being treated like a number, charged an arm and a leg, and having unnecessary vaccinations pushed on me all the time at Animal Hospital, Inc. on Rt. 6 & 91. Dr. Doles spent a lot of time with Nikki trying to figure out what was wrong with her. He did blood work and a thorough examination. He gave her an injection of something he said was used to inhibit saliva during operations so patients didn't choke on their own spit. While we never really figured out what it was, the injection did the trick. Even after Nikki and I were gone, he continued to do more research into what could have caused her drooling issues because he said it interested him to find out just for his own knowledge. That kind of dedication to his profession and his patients is what will keep me coming back. Thank you, Dr. Doles.

All of my children have brought their pets to Dr. Doles for years. They had always urged me to switch vets. But out of convenience I didn't. It was when my 8 year old Maltese suddenly became I'll that I took her to Dr. Doles. He is truly amazing! I can't say enough about how caring and knowledgeable he is. After having him treat my dog for two weeks, I can only say I'm sorry I didn't listen to my kids sooner. You don't find doctors like him anymore. The staff, I might add, are all very caring and courteous!
