All I really want to say is THANK YOU!!!!!!
Dr. Conti and his staff saved my dogs life! My son (which by the way is my dog, but i truly feel like hes my baby) was attached by two other dogs! I really didn't have an established veterinarian, so the only thing I could do was to get in my car and drive to the nearest animal hospital.
It was Pleasant Plains Vet Hos. I ran in without an appointment while Dr. Conti and his staff were having lunch, they didn't even think twice! They reached right out and grabbed Shag from my arms and started to perform their magic!
I was informed that he had several injuries and that he needed to be on IV fluids for a few hours since he was also in shock. I left knowing that he was going to receive the best care!
I came back three hours later and Shag was jumping around like nothing happened, of course he needed follow up care for the next few weeks since he had multiple puncture wound and he was still not in the clear from surgery.
Needless to say Shag survived and all is well, since then Dr.Conti has been our Veterinarian and always will be! I can't thank Dr. Conti and his staff enough!

dr conte is a wonderful man he treated my cat from my home, it was amazing how he performed this operation in my home never saw anything like this was very happy, he's a great doctor he helped me so many times with my cat i would recommend him , he CARES about the well being of my cat!!!!thank you DR. CONTE!!

I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. dog went in for urinary track infection, blood tests were taken, unine test was taken, Was advised to get x-ray, got it! was told all tests showed up positive. GOOD RIGHT? was charged for all tests. He tried to set me up for a sonagram, $640. test, said i'd wait and see what developes.......Was not prescribed any meds, went home , my poor dog suffered for another 8 or 9 days. He also said dog was in perfect health. I finally smartened up and took the dog to another vet, which looked at the TESTS HE DID,!!!!!!!!!!?????the vet spotted the unirary infection in a few seconds. WOW- HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT? bottom line is he did not do a thing to help . The second vet cost me another $160 but the dog is getting better with antibiotics,that the 1st vet should have prescribed . DON'T TRUST THIS GUY IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR ANIMAL.

Do NOT go to this guy. We brought our dog in to him the other day, because he was having problems breathing so he could take x-rays. We were told they saw their last patient at 5pm. We arrived at 4:45pm. Mind you the dog is having problems breathing. We sat their 15 minutes and Dr. conti comes out and says "oh geez, its time for us to close the girls want to go home, an x-ray will take an hour, can you come back next week?" The dog is having problems breathing. "what are we supposed to do over the weekend if he is having problems?" "oh geez, i dont know". He is completely useless, cares more about his vacation time than the animals he is seeing. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HIM AND YOU SHOULD NOT EITHER!!!! Luckily Ocean County Veterinary Hospital is up the road.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find.
