We love Dr. Schreiber!! I have gone to many vets to only feel like I was being financially drained with no diagnosis. Dr. Schreiber is far more professional and knowledgeable then most. Dr. Schreiber played a very significant roll in the care of our fur baby. I recommend him ALL of the time.

My cat had gotten sick so I called Dr. Schreiber. Even though he was leaving to go away for the weekend, he waited for me to get there to treat my cat. That meant alot to me.

My dog recently was neutered by Dr. Schreiber because my breeder uses him. We bought the dog knowing he only had one testicle descended, hoping it would drop. At 7 months it didn't drop and Dr. Schreiber insisted this will be a simple procedure. My husband dropped our dog off and immediately called me with an uneasy feeling. The office was in the basement of the doctor's home. The doctor was all alone with another dog on the table doing surgery. He left the dog on the table to rush my husband to weigh the dog and immediately administered a needle of anesthesia. He said he had to hurry back to the dog on the table and he would call when our dog was done. When done he called us and said to pick him up at 10:30. My husband picked him up but had to carry our 74 lb. dog up the basement steps because he was still out of it. Got him home and by 3 pm he was bleeding through his incision. We rushed him to our vet and they administered fluids and gave a laser treatment to promote healing. They said it might be a small blood vessel that was bleeding but he should be okay. Two days post surgery it was oozing a bloody discharge and then internal tissue started to come out. We rushed our dog to an emergency vet that was open. They said it was his omentum coming out. They said they had to open him back up! They discovered only two internal stitches. Not enough! The dog had a hernia. The emergency vet gave our dog 4 layers of internal stitches and the outside stitches weren't even seen! He had to stay over night. Our hearts were breaking for our poor dog. His simple procedure was a hack Job! I think Dr. Schreiber needs to retire! No compassion! And cost me close to $1,000.00!
