I needed exirays for Kaiser and he told me he needed blood work first to do Exrays $200.00 for blood work I asked when would he get the blood work back he said by 12 the next day my daughter spoke with him trying to get the results the next day he said he was full of cancer but still could not send her the results. I went there too pick them up but we're closed for lunch had to get back to Kaiser the next day I went in to his office and he gave a couple exudes one he don't know how to work the computer to print them out and then took my email address and said he'd have the lab send them to me I asked if I could pick them up he said the lab was in Sacramento so I went out and sat in the truck with one of his magazines for about 40 minutes then walked back in the office and he had it sitting on the counter. I'm wondering why he didn't call me the day before when I'm the one who had the dog instead he talked with my daughter in Denver and I needed an Exrays it was too late now my dog had died at 8am that morning I think he had a broken rib or something and it punt hired his lung my dog had to suffer 2nights in pain and when he died I've never heard a dog scream like that before I was trying to move him back away from a heater I told him he died he said he new he was going to how come he didn't advise me to put him down or give him some pain medicine.like I asked He was suffering

While his prices are relatively low and billing can be flexible, Dr. Zamora keeps very partial and selective financial records. A billing arrangement isn't a service to your client if records of prior payments are omitted.

My elderly mom (who passed a few months ago) claimed several times AEZR was double billing her for our family cats and pug, and after paying the last bill out of my own pocket in 2014, there's still no record of any such payment, or any other payments for the past 4 years, which is totally untrue. The last time I paid a $100 installment in order to get a $15 glands expression for my pug, mom was really upset - claiming she'd already paid off the outstanding amount and that I should not pay them any more.

When we had our second cat Corky put to sleep in 2013 (which was paid for) I left her overnight and in the morning she was in deplorable condition, worse than when she was dropped off. Dripping and soaking wet, shaking and clearly miserable. Couldn't they have at least kept her dry and warm?

Dr. Zamora has a rather cold bedside manner during euthanizing and actually whistled to himself during and after the injection. They then tried to charge an exorbitant disposal fee and $50 PER NIGHT to keep her in their freezer while we decided to make arrangements for her burial. When I went to pick up her remains, I got back the same box I brought her in. I had to bury her little frozen body myself.

Today, I brought in my pug with a tumor - waited about 30 minutes and after being admitted to the exam room, Zamora brought out his file folder with its incomplete records and said a remaining balance would need to be settled before he would treat my pet. Needless to say, he refused to acknowledge the prior payments, accused my recently deceased mother of lying and had a few choice words for her and myself. Unbelievable.

Please, do yourself and your pets a favor and avoid this vet and his practice. His family is friendly and supportive, but that can't make up for the horrible attitude and fraudulent billing.
