He was the on call vet & we had a horse about to colic. He was VERY prompt, responsive, and thorough in his advice for our horses well-being. We were out of town, but that did not deter his care over the phone! We were VERY impressed with Dr. Evans & will continue to take our dogs & horses to Tecumseh Vet until we move away! Highly Highly Recommend Dr. Evans & Tecumseh Vet.

Of course at times vets have to do unpleasant procedures on the pets, but they always demonstrate care and compassion. I really trust them and so do my pets. They always educate me on what's best for my pets and give me great advice on ways to help them live a long, healthy, and happy life. I'm thankful for all that they do. They fully explained my pet's condition. When I left I knew exactly what my pet has and what treatments are available.

Dr. Evans has never been overly friendly, but after today, I will not be going back to the Tecumseh Vet Clinic. I have had 5 dogs in the last 10 years and always taken them to the Tecumseh Vet Clinic. The dog I took in today is a Belgian Malinois and is almost 3 years old. I have taken him to that vet since we bought him when he was a puppy. I did notice that Dr. Evans was less then pleased to deal with a dog that is not the perfect patient in the past, but I figured we were only there once a year for shots and so it was not a big deal. At no point did he ever give suggestions on how to get my dog to be a little less skittish when he comes in for appts. Today, when my dog acted as he always does, Dr. Evans asked how I deal with him at home. At home he is the perfect dog. He only completely loses it when we go to the vet. He does not like to be touched by strangers and does not like to get shots. In Dr. Evans opinion, my dog is not scared of me and therefore does not listen. Like I said, I do not have problems with him at home, he listens and obeys fine. I felt very insulted that a man who sees us once a year could make this opinion of me when he knows nothing about the relationship that I have with my dog. While Dr. Evans can certainly save your dogs life and has been doing this for years, I would not recommend him if you have a dog that is not the perfect patient and requires a little more effort to give a shot to, or in todays case, to put him under and neuter him. It required 2 tranquilizers, a body slam to the metal table, and 3 people to put him under. Maybe he isn't the perfect dog. I never said he was. I don't think that insulting me will fix that though. Thanks for reading.
