Dr. Harmening is an equine practitioner so he comes to the client. I had had several vets for my horses & I was less than satisfied - and I had heard horror stories of the inept & the careless (no names) & it was pure luck that I was able to observe Dr. Harmening @ work for another boarder's animal. Eureka! I had him attend my horses from then on. He is in demand so when you call you may have to wait for him because he is attending other owners' horses. One of mine was a love-bug. Anyone could do anything to him w/o problems, the other was head-shy & fearful [from earlier abuse] but George never had to twitch, hit, raise his voice or otherwise upset an already stressed animal. He is the best equine vet that I ever had without reservation.
