Very disappointed! I was a patient for EIGHT years and was dismissed because I complained about the staff and their poor scheduling and patient interactions.

As a concierge patient, we are promised same day or next day appointments but when I called to schedule for slightly urgent matter I was given an appointment 30 days out. I used concierge texting privilege to the doctor regarding the long wait, but received no reply, that is, until I complained publicly.

Thats when he called to tell me "I don't appreciate your comment on my Facebook page". Then I received a formal letter for dismissal. Too bad their answer to complaints is dismissal rather than improving their services. My comment was removed on FB and I was blocked from the doctor's medical page while still a concierge patient.

At first I thought I shouldn't have complained because it caused all of this, but after speaking with a lawyer he informed me that my complaint was very valid and they weren't holding up to their side of the concierge agreement. Also, that it may be considered patient abandonment because I was in the middle of treatment and didn't receive services I required at the time. Unfortunate I have to pursue legal action.

I've been a client of Dr. Petteruti for about 6 years. When I had my first visit, I was a hot mess going thru menopause. The visit with Dr. Petteruti was thorough, and after we discussed every detail and having COMPLETE blood work, I started Bioidentical Hormone Replacement therapy. And believe me, I felt like a new woman! Not just the physical but emotional, he was there for me. He has a GREAT staff, always friendly and very helpful.

Dr. Stephen Petteruti is an excellent functional medicine doctor. He knows his stuff. He is very well educated and researched on all topics of medicine. I went to see him for testosterone replacement therapy and learned so much more about anti-aging. I feel terrific. Highly recommended.

Dr. Petteruti and The Petteruti Center for Life Extension is the best practice in Rhode Island. Dr. Petteruti is an amazing doctor and very knowledgeable. He takes his time with you and explains everything in detail. The staff is very professional and courteous. I feel that I am in great hands and that I have a great team behind me to help keep me healthy and young.

The office is modern but warm and friendly. You are immediately greeted upon walking in. Dr. Petteruti has an old charm and is very knowledgeable about medicine. I have recommended several family members and friends already.

They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office. I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart. When comparing them to bariatric weight loss facilities, they are among the best I have seen.
