The office is very nice and the wait time is negligible. I came with nail fungus and patchy irritated skin around a big toe. I was sent by a physician . I met with podiatrist he took a very brief look I cant overemphasize how brief. And he suggested that I go with laser for my toes which isn't covered by insurance. He said don't worry about insurance just pay $200. I agreed to pay the fee and I did. The laser only covered a toenail and he didn't address the skin. He charged me 200 fee plus he charged insurance $90. When I call billing, they seemed genuinely surprised and asked me what do you care If we charged insurance? It was escalated. The doctor called me back and he said that he charged for the visit separately because he thoroughly evaluated my foot. I disagreed since he literally spent less than a minute. In addition he also didn't address the fungus on my toe. He said may be I was busy but if you want send me a picture and I will let you know. He was willing to work with me. But I don't want to see the doctor who doesn't do 5 minute evaluation for a new patient. Again I am not against paying out of pocket but at least do your job.
