Very fast, helpful, given an invalid quote, and they honored it. Friendly service, took my husband there too, and he was equally pleased!

The vision center in Mulberry is nicer, the people friendlier and glasses cheaper....

Walmart eye care center eyeglasses are not a good choice. I have had my glasses for under 6 months and already the paint is peeling off of the plastic frames. I would give them a 0 out of 5 stars.

I walked into this Bartow, Florida Walmart Vision center 45 minutes early. I was told by this very young, uninterested girl, that "he is not in yet". Of course I knew i was a bit early, and that I was going to have to wait. No problem. I walked around WalMart, not at all interested in walking/shopping at that time. So I gave that up, and decided to have a seat on the bench directly outside the visiion to wait out my time. At eactly 10:15 (time of scheduled appt.) I walked back in. I was told to have a seat. I did. Some gentleman asked me my name, I replied. Mrs. Kirkland. At that time, he came forward and handed me some forms to fill out. I had been to this visit center previously, but years did pass. Apparently they don;t keep records that long..because mine could not be found. I was left alone to complete the necessary forms. At this time another patient took my appt. time of 10:15ish. It then dawned on me...that had that young girl/staff asked me my name earlier..she could have looked up my records/and then given me the forms to fill out. Which i would have gladly done. SHE DID NOT EVEN ASKED MY NAME! I became upset. as she passed by unbusily, I asked her why she didn't give me the forms 45 minutes earlier when I had first come in the vision center. She gave me no answer. So I replied and said " I could have very well filled these forms out..and I would have been ready for my exact appt. time. Get this, all she said is "ok". No interest at all in the value of my time. I thought I was the customer!. So terribly unprofessional, I simply gruffed out the vision center, and drove home, no eye exam, no glasses..no satisfaction, or I'm sorry...nothing. I will never return to that vision center. Sincerely, Cevie Kirkland. PS. I am also very very hard of hearing, which made communication even more difficult.
