Called me for an appointment. When I came in and started asking questions about services, it was then that the staff realized they no longer took my insurance anymore. Mind you, we already went through my chart, they asked if anything has changed, if all my information was correct and so forth. Yet they were unaware that I had insurance the last visit or that I could have had insurance this visit. At this point I was very upset since we had already started some of the process of checking my eyes before the doctor had come in. I immediately ended the appointment and asked how much I already owed for the visit knowing that at least it would be the $15.00 for the eye test so far. How unprofessional can a place be to call a client for a yearly appointment and then go over their information with them upon their arrival and not know they are on insurance that the company does not except anymore. The reason they have any stars is due to them waving the fee for the embarrassment of not checking my chart.

It was like he insulted me the enitre time I was there. He just kept repeating himself about how nothing he did would make my eye as good as my other eye. I even had to interrupt his talking to ask if I was wasting my time being there. He is the only provider who has ever spoken to me this way.
