I made a visit to MMH emergency room and it was depressing, understaffed and overcrowded. No rooms were available and patients were strewn throughout the hallways on gurneys. This was not even during the season-this was in September! The whole facility was in need of renovation. Chairs in the waiting room were old and cheap, the walls were painted over concrete block, and just to make the whole experience more enjoyable, they forced everyone to watch Fox News. I simply found the place unpleasant and industrial, but you should look at the 2013 Consumer Report on hospitals before considering surgery or any other serious procedure there. Stuart deserves better!
