I would never recommend them to anyone. They were terrible. They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. The chairs in their waiting room weren't the best but they served their purpose and I couldn't complain. I understand more about the treatment options I'm have to choose, but I'm not totally confident that I know enough. They seemed like they were using fairly modern treatment methods and procedures, but I'm not really sure. The staff in the ICU could have been a little more helpful. My mom was there a week and some of the staff acted like my mom was more of a bother than a patient. I had to help her do everything, not that I mind because she's my mother but when my mom buzzed for a nurse they took there sweet time getting to her and then when they did come in the room and asked for something they disappeared and never returned. My mom had been in there going on 3 days and no one gave her a bath and they knew she was so weak at times she couldn't even sit up. I thank God that he gave me the strength to take care of her while she was there. I want some of the the staff members to put there selves in the patient's shoes would they want someone to treat them that way. My grandmother always told me to treat people how I would want to be treated. So in making that comment some of the nursing staff and so called medical students need to really research and dig deep to find out what "common courtesy and politeness" means. I can honestly say there were two doctor groups and one kidney specialist and her group were very helpful and kind while my mother attended this hospital. There was a very nice administrative assistant by the name of Monica who was so kind to my family through this ordeal and a very kind nurse by the name of Michelle who was kind as well. Thank y'all so much for everything. Now as for the chief of nursing and the short Caucasian male who raised his voice unnecessary in ICU when I was just trying to find out information about my mother because I had drove 10 hours from another state they need a reality check on "common courtesy" and if I may say so myself a reevaluation on there positions there. If you don't want to help people please get out of customer service and definitely the healthcare field....
