My daughter was here some years pass so I kinda knew what to expect, but they did more than just meet my expectations they went over and beyond. The staff was so nice. Even the food for me was amazing. I would highly recommend I met people like Latonya who was just extra pleasant that’s just one of the CNa’s ,I had an incident were I dropped my phone in the commode and she immediately with no hesitation went and found me a phone so that I would be able to call my husband to bring me another one. Then I met Cindy one of the occupational therapist who was just a doll. But the majority of the staff was just wonderful I can’t complain about anything or anyone and everything is always so clean and that’s important.
The Staff at Kindred Hospital NW Houston have been extremely good. They are taking wonderful care of my husband and helping us as much as possible. My patient Representative, Schelitia, has been exceptional. She listens to me, checks in with me and truly cares. I am very thankful for all of the support and expertise being shared with me during such an unexpected tragedy that my poor husband has suffered through. Gratefully, Claudia L Smith
I was referred to Kindred Hospital due to a multitude of health issues I had been diagnosed with after an emergency trip to the Scott and White ER in College Station via ambulance. My conditions required a mutidisciplinary facility that was adept in all aspects: IV antibiotics for MSSA blood infection Sepsis, IV replacements of critically low potassium magnesium levels, two fractures in pubic body and sacrum, pain management, highly specialized wound care and pain management for pyoderma, infectious disease, physical therapy, consistent managementf of medications to adequately treat pyoderma and also frequent monitoring of lab levels to ensure lab levels to ensure electrolytes and immune system are not critically compromised.
Kindred has exceeded expectations in all aspects. The discipline doctors and their staff have been responsive and on task with daily check ups and lab results. The nursing staff and their CNAs have also been outstanding.
Special mention of nurses Kayla, Brooke, Mixpah, Sara/Kush, Kevin, Priscilla who went out of their way to ensure I got my meds on time and inquire if I needed anything between times.
CNAs Anita, Martha, Sol, Jerly. I’m sure I’m leaving some out but there are so many and they switch often.
The staff has been simply wonderful. I have been an independent man for years never depending on anyone to take care of me . Coming here where there is always someone helping me get dress, helping me to the bathroom has just been an I opener. But they have been wonderful. My Therapist , I call him T is just a great guy. Carolyn has been super amazing she has such a calming spirit she just calms me down like a kitten when I get rowdy. It’s always nice and clean and just everything has been good I must say. I’ve recovered faster than I thought just being here. If you had to come to a rehab I suggest you try Kindred northwest team, you won’t be disappointed.
I recently was admitted to Kindred at Fallbrook and was there for about 3 weeks. As I was not bed bound, I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in both Occupational and Physical Therapy. That team was so encouraging to me on both good and bad days and they would check on me if they had any slots open up. I am grateful for their kindness and professionalism. Alma and Michelle in Wound Care were amazingly helpful and understanding during my wound changes and especially with the installation of the wound vacuum. The nurses were, overall, very helpful and caring. Sam, Georgia, Sheila, Lucy and many others as well as Ha (CNA) went above and beyond expectations every time. I knew that when Ha was scheduled, I was going to have a successful day. The facility teams are a bit disjointed around communications. However, they all eventually got on the same page to help me move forward. There are quite a few leaders who enter your room to learn how your care is going in general as well as if there are any issues that require specific solutions between team and team members. Melanie would check on me every morning to make sure that my overnight care was on par and to check if I needed anything. Her visits were very reassuring for me. If I needed long-term wound care, I would not hesitate to select this facility.
This is a great place for your loved ones. Staff treat you life family. Dr’s listen to you and work with you on your goals. I want to thank all the staff and nurses in ICU that took care of my husband.
I was a little apprehensive about transferring from a hospital to a rehab facility and had concerns about the care I would be receiving. I can now assure you that the Kindred staff exceeds all expectations for care and management. The nurses are certainly high level professionals and the therapist are working wonders with me. Charles in PT and Maria in OT are pushing me to higher goals daily. The dietician have me off of liquid nutrition and back on regular food. My case manager is Naomi Child’s and not only is she a great cheerleader, she is also a great manager. Thanks to all at Kindred
The staff has been amazing I must say. They are compassionate and so patient with me. I know I have been a hand full and they stuck with me and got me where I am today. Thank you to Charles in PT who work so well with me and was able to get me to stand with less pain. I am so appreciative for everything that’s been done. It’s always so nice and clean too. One of the young ladies I can’t remember her name came in without me asking to make sure I had some ice and water without me even asking because she knows that’s what I like and I can appreciate that. I would definitely recommend this place for care
