I want to thank the staff at the HICU for their excellent care after my recent visit to the ER. I had to have a heart cath and they were professional, efficient, and helpful. I want to thank nurses Crystal, Rose, Sing, and Dakota, among others. I have to have another heart cath and, though I don't look forward to it, I don't dread it.
I have dealt with Barberton Summa since the 60's and always have received excellent care. Now that I am retired and on social security I do have one thing that bothers me. In Jan. 2013 I had a colonoscopy. The pre-resgistration department called me a few days prior the the proceedure as they have many times before. Not knowing that my procedure was diagnostic I paid a copay of $. which later I found out was not needed. It is now March and I have yet to receive my refund. Summa Ins. and the hosp. both acknowledge that it is due. One question, when will I get it? I respect the large clientel and time it takes to process things, however if I owed you folks it would have been sent for collection a long time ago.
I need the hospital and probably will be again a patient before my days are over so I do not want to make waves, but please move a little toward my refund. Thank you
