Have just returned from my my first visit to Aalam the salon and I have to say I'm mightily impressed. Had heard a lot about Mansour and was not disappointed. He and his talented team have created a hairdressing experience that ticks all the right boxes.

The salon itself is light and airy and tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail (A glass of wine and a killer head massage at the wash stations, piped music in the toilets...).

More importantly though, the same attention to detail was given to my cut, color and finish. Sherry did an absolutely fantastic job on the color, using three shades and toner to create beautifully fine, natural-looking highlights that have depth and vibrancy.

Mansour then cut and styled my hair with great care and precision. Having received very vague guidance from me about the look I was wanting, he took time to talk me through exactly what he was doing at each stage, giving me complete trust and confidence in him. The finished cut is exactly what I wanted but was unable to articulate - not a complete restyle but a more balanced, fresher, sharper cut that hangs and moves just right. Result!!

Thanks to all the team. Despite the fact the salon's not exactly on my doorstep, it was totally worth the journey. I will most definitely be back!

What a horrid experience. I received an awful haircut from an extremely rude stylist. When I complained to the owner he was as rude and inconsiderate as the stylist.

From the ridiculously high prices to the inexperienced stylists this is one business that won't be around for long. Save your money and your hair and choose another salon.
