At the age of 46 I found myself needing medication for diabetes. This was surprising to most people because I was 115lbs. and 5'3". By the time I was 56 I was on Metformin, Ongloyza, Actos, and Glimepiride and I was headed toward insulin.
I contacted Dr. Mowll, and I was not expecting much. Now after little over a year with the guidance, support and knowledge of Dr. Mowll I am only taking 1/2 of my Metformin. He was their to answer questions and help me understand what I needed to do and why. It was difficult at times and I needed support but I would do it all again. I feel better than ever!

I became Dr. Brian's patient some years ago because I suffered from numerous problems: bad knees, thigh pain, back pain, and difficulty sleeping. Chiropractic treatments cured these ailments. When Dr. Brian included functional medicine in his practice, I decided to give it a try. Preliminary tests revealed a thyroid that had stopped functioning, as well as adrenral glands that were exhausted. I was asked to start the cure by drinking a powder shake every morning for three weeks for cleansing my system which I hated, but endured, telling myself to be a warrior. I also took supplements for thyroid and adrenal problems. And I did improve. Today, my adrenal levels are normal, and my thyroid levels, while still a bit low, are getting better. However, when I began getting pamphlets from various manufacturers about so called miracle supplements and skin creams, I took them to Dr.Brian, and he looked them over with me to let me know which had possibilities and which were expensive frauds. It was quite pleasing and refreshing to be working with one's doctor who was open to all products that might prove helpful. Dr.Brian is truly a doctor for those who really want to be well and are willing stay the course to get there.

I thought I was doing a pretty good job managing my diabetes but started putting on weight and wasn’t feeling very well. It was getting very aggravating taking pills and keeping track of them. After griping at my doctor about this he suggested I visit with a diabetes educator. I found some information about Dr. Mowll and figured I would give him a shot at me. What a difference – Dr. Mowll took time speaking with me, listening to me, and educating me about the disease. He and his staff are very professional and made me feel like they really cared about me. Dr. Mowll spent the time he needed to help me set the right goals and held me accountable at follow up visits. He offered strategies that worked and I am grateful to him and his staff. Highly recommended!

I participated in Dr. Mowll's Diabetes Summit. Clearly, he is intimately aware of all of the cutting edge holistic approaches to reversing T2 diabetes. I'm essentially treating myself (successfully, I might add) via a ketogenic diet and exercise. I would not hesitate to avail myself of Dr. Mowll's expertise if I lived in the area.
