Very gentle with pets & caring Doc - Its an hour drive but I will not trust my dogs with any other vet. He is not money oriented care like most places, many times advises on ph without a visit for at home kitchen friendly items like lavendar oil or kids benadryl or jus wait it out - very caring Doc - DR Joe Mandela.

Dr. Mandola is just amazing. They are our extended family and we are so happy to have them care for our family pets.

The knowledge that Dr. Mandola has far exceeds my expectations. He takes the time to make and return our calls to help us understand what is happening with our aging pet. We drive from Northwest Houston just to see him!! That's speaks volumes about the care he has provided over the last 10 years.

He is worth the drive! I have used Dr. Joe for years and my parents & sister before that. He is the best in surgery and general care. We are so grateful for his expertise.

Have been seeing Dr. Mandola since 1982. He has always been great. Only problem is that it is extremely hard to actually see Joe anymore as he has cut his hours. I think he has semi-retired, which I can't blame him for he has been at it a long time. However, the last couple of years I've noticed that as his staff changes, the clinic atmosphere has changed. It's no longer relaxed and friendly as in the past. Seems like everyone is in a hurry and has no time to talk to patrons or make you feel welcomed. Staff doesn't seem to care much for the animals and treats them like "objects".

Dr Mandola is a knowledgeable, professional and truly caring vet. We have seen him for various conditions and he makes a diagnosis and course of treatment that meets with great success. His rates are the best and they can always see you. I first went to him with a stray who needed so much care and he had him better in a matter of a week. I would highly recommend him to anyone who cares for and loves their pet.
