When in Dr. Archangelo's office for the first appointment with my child, he completely didn't remember a phone conversation we had in reference to the reason why the appointment was made. I was confused and when I questioned him, he told me that he speaks with many people and can't remember all conversations. Apparently he doesn't take notes when making appointments so that he knows the reason for your visit ?? This should have been a red flag for me. He then canceled my son's 2nd appointment the day prior, without consulting with me because he said my child wasn't covered by the new insurance policy that kicked in the week prior. When I asked why he didn't call me directly so that I could contact my HR department to straighten out the new insurance coverage, he told me he doesn't have time so he went ahead and filled my son's timeslot with another appointment. At this point I informed him that I felt he wasn't the best doctor for my son, he said fine and hung up in my ear. His showed his true character today, and I am glad that we aren't continuing treatment with him, as he clearly is discourteous and concerned more with getting paid than helping the patient.
