Absolutely! I never have a problem!
Did this psychologist ever take personal phone calls while in the appointment room with you?
They would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Yes, extremely spacious

They didn't leave me unattended once during my consultation, which I really appreciated. I definitely don’t want to go back to see them. I have absolutely no confidence that they know what they’re doing. They are by far the worst psychologist I've ever seen or heard of. It seemed like they had just started practicing yesterday. They are nice but WAY overbooked and the staff is clearly overworked. They should really allow for more time in between appointments if they want to keep any business. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of.she's a peice of chit when she wants to be,takeing batteries out of cell phones.that were of no problem to her.shes always right.(what a joke!!)she has a dependacy on caffiene & always jokes about it. right now doubt if i'll ever go back there. took a long hiatus once before. this time i doubt that i'll return it is very unkewl to decide by herself if a pay as you go cell phone was no good for me!! i'll stop here, even if i'm not done. you buy a new battery, maybe i'll think about it. otherwise...........(not proper words) peace and god bless

James - I was definitely at Associated Psychology Services in Mankato. You are right, I am not sure who I met with at that office since neither the brusk receptionist nor she identified herself. If it wasn't Linda, I apologize. I thought I was leaving a review of APS in general. The woman I met with did take a lengthy phone call during my session. During that call, she discussed private information about a client. After the call, I expressed my disatisfaction with this unprofessional behavior and she failed to apologize and actually gave me more information about this other client as an explination. Instead, she became extremely angry. Again, with this information I could have easily found out the identity of her other client. (BTW James, how do you know or don't know who takes calls during sessions at APS unless you are actually associated with that office and not an impartial client?) Her conduct was in violation of the Minnesota Board of Psychology standards and HIPAA regulations. Regardless of who I met with, why would anyone choose psychological services from an organization that associates themselves with a "counselor" that behaves like that? Beware!

Joanne - Please pay attention as to what counselor you are talking about. You are under the APS clinic site and even more specifically Dr. Linda Marshall. I believe you are thinking of a different provider. It is unfortunate that those who choose to leave feedback fail to do the proper research as to whom they are leaving it for. I have been to see Linda many times, her office was spotless and she always introduces herself. She does not take phone calls during sessions either.

Totally unprofessional! My therapist never introduced herself. I immediately felt uncomfortable because her office was a mess. As I gave her some of my issues and history, I sensed that she wasn't really paying attention. Soon afterward, she took a phone call! This call lasted about 5 minutes and she was discussing the details of another patients case. I wanted to crawl into a hole because I shouldn't have been hearing this information. When she finally hung up, she explained the call by giving more information to me about the other patient -with that info I could have easily found their identity. If she is this careless about that persons privacy, what was she going to do with mine? Avoid this provider!

No, I didn't notice an odor

Yes, I could tell the staff respected him/her

Were you able to get answers to simple questions from this provider without scheduling an appointment?
Not really. I had to schedule an appointment for most of my questions.
Did this psychologist prominently display their diplomas or business license?
Not very well. I had to really look for it before I found it.
Does this provider treat every client equally?
No, they definitely favor certain clients
Was it easy to make an appointment with this psychologist?
No, it took a while

Run from these people. They are VERY immoral and unethical. They primarily work for surrounding counties' and deliver whatever psych evals the county wants......alarming at best. Several complaints filed with psych board against these two.....
