Why can't I give zero stars? They "let me go" because I missed an appointment due to a funeral! Several other red flags include benefit explanations coming back with charges I didn't make, overhearing gossip on clients by staff, and someone talking about how much money they would make by charging for extras. BEWARE!
This place sucks hard! Cynthia is a shrewd money hoarder that just won't stop. She will discharge you if you question her, or ask for any type of empathy or understanding. Thanks for nothing!
They will lie to you about costs, use out of network third parties without your permission, and generally just screw you over and say whatever they have to in order to keep you in their scam. Very greedy people. Why Kentucky does not have laws to protect people from predators like these people is beyond me. I guess the politicians are in on the scam.
This place is absolutely horrible. Their admin staff is the worst, one appears to be a patient there. They don't care....in and out like anything but a caring, client centered practice. Whatever u do, don't give them a loved one, they might kill em.
My old doctor there was incredibly lax about following KASPAR drug screening protocol. It worked in my favor as she assumed I couldn't possibly be a drug user (even though I smoked plenty of marijuana) but it was also kind of disconcerting to see that a person at her level used her own subjective judgment to determine whether or not clients needed to be screened, especially since she judged me incorrectly. Right before she left for another job in a different state, she was frantically trying to squeeze in drug screens on all of her clients "in case her files got audited." She wrote me my prescriptions without having me take a test first, and didn't even look at my results (which were positive for THC) the next month-- she just wrote me my prescriptions again and told me she was leaving. I'm now going to a different doctor somewhere else who is much more stringent about these tests, and I will no longer be using marijuana because of this. I'm actually kind of relieved to have a doctor who cares about following the law, even if it means changing my habits. It's time anyway, and I needed that external motivation to do so.
Avoid this place at all costs. As the previous post stated they are only concerned about the money - if your established patient and miss the appointment they will charge you regardless of the reason. They provide 15 minutes of actual discussion before medicating you and then require you to come in regularly for refills not annually bimonthly. And don't call if you have problems with your medication or lack there of they don't respond - your left to deal with your issues on your own. This place should not be in business and allowed to treat people with mental health issues.
