Was forced to go here by my parents an therapist who didn't believe I was transgender. This was awhile back, but I just found the test results and remembered at how traumatizing this was. The doctor at this process did not refer to me with the correct pronouns. Everyone was trying to diagnose me with anything other than being trans to justify my existence. The doctor would speak about me rudely while I was in the room. The doctor could tell that I didn't want to be there, and did not honestly try to answer anything with any sort of accuracy. The doctor wrote in his report that I was probably autistic or I had ADHD and that was why I thought I was transgender. I find this very offensive, as the doctor obviously didn't know that both could exist alongside each other. I have friends who are transgender and who are also neurodiverse. This does not make their identities invalid. I am neurotypical, and throughout high school, college, and grad school I never had any issues with keeping up with my classwork or social life. You should be ashamed as someone who specializes in neuropsychology and neurodiversity that you would ever try to falsely label someone to try to tell them their identity is not valid.

I am being tested at Butler hospital and was having conflicting reports . So I wanted to go back and get some old reports from different doctors. 12 years ago I had a week long study done from 9 to 5 . I contacted the old landlord at 111 Wayland Sq . Prov RI . He gave me Dr Brett Leimkuler name . I googled it and there new location of the last 7 years popped up. My heat jumped WOWI found him . But I had little hope that his office would still have my report after so many years (12 yrs ) . I called and Betsey answered . In a matter of minutes she located my report and said she would put it in the mail. The point is the Doc really has his act together in running his practice. Betsey finding that old file really helped me with some present counceling.

We had Dr. Leimkuler and his staff evaluate all three of my sons, the first in 1999 the last in 2007 Having the information these evaluations provided took the mystery away and allowed for a clearer vision of how to move forward, all this was done in a very professional manner. They have always gone above and beyond to help us with anything we have needed. The appointments started on time and they were very well organized. Especially for my eldest son, I believe the testing and conversation (evaluation) with Dr. Leimkuler gave him the confidence to become an architect even with a math disability. Life can be approached from different angles and this knowledge is priceless!

There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. I was pretty surprised with how far away this business was from everything. It took me forever to get there and I kept getting lost. I didn't have to wait long at all in the waiting room. I spent less than fifteen minutes in there. It is so refreshing to see a provider that you can tell truly cares about their appearance. They strive to maintain a professional appearance and look their best at all times. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time. Here's the kicker: paid for eval in September, had the eval in November, and it's 6 months later and I STILL DO NOT HAVE A WRITTEN REPORT! Have called several times and continue to get excuses (lots of information to compile) - seriously?

Dr. Leimkuhler helped me tremendously. His staff were very helpful and respectful and I got my report on time. (By the way, someone who complained submitted 2 reviews on the same day under different names- very obvious.) Dr. Leimkuhler is excellent and very compassionate. He turned my life around. He and his Center have a wonderful reputation.

The doctors here are pretty good. However, the administrative staff (specifically the front desk person) is extremely disorganized. I drove a very long way to an appointment that was scheduled 3 weeks before and was told that I was not booked. She then blamed me for the mistake despite the fact that I always repeat the appointment on the phone at the end of a conversation when I am scheduling it. Moreover, they never meet their time commitments when it comes to sending documents. Documents never arrive when they say it will. Overall, the doctors are fine but the admin staff is very bad and disorganized.

These people gave me the wrong appointment date and said it was on a different date so I wasted my time going in!

Secondly, they wouldn't give me my full report on time. The doctor said that if I needed the report quicker, I should let him know. I told him that I needed it quickly and its now three months later and I'm still calling their office all the time. The worst part is that they said they would have it done by the end of the week but forgot and I had to wait another week. After that, they said they sent it to my address and its been six days. If I'm in the same state as them, it shouldn't take more than 3 days at most. This is ridiculous.

DON'T EVER GO HERE!
