Poor care. One staff member (a nurse) seemed to have a bit of compassion. I would go out of town before I would return here. I saw the therapist who ran the groups following my "release". He came on to me and I had to terminate therapy. The woman who did the "strip search" upon arriving, acted as though I was interfering with her studies (she was doing homework on the job). She treated this sensitive issue with no compassion. The 'wings' of the unit are 'co-ed". The man in the room next to me also came on to me. The patients had to "request" to go outside. The "recreation" consisted of grade school art projects. No excercise was incorporated. The one upside, is that my doctor, Dr. Giesbrecht, was good and met with me on a regular basis in the hospital and got me on medication that saved my life. Other than that, this place is sad.
