Went to see Jim a couple years ago to get help dealing with marital strife. He was a wonderful caring counselor who helped my husband and i save our marriage.

My husband called today looking for a psychiatrist for the first time. This is something he has been building the courage to do for several years. When he spoke with Jim
Ferrara he was told "you have too many problems call someone else". I was completely appalled, as was he. Responses like this only enforce the feelings of helplessness that people with these conditions experience and can cause them to lose faith in mental health care all together. This man should not be allowed to practice.
