My experience with Catharine took place nine years ago, when I was fifteen. I’ve been in mental health treatment since, and have had a variety of therapists. Catharine is by far, the absolute WORST therapist I have ever encountered. I am coming back to leave this review nine years later because I am earning an MFT license as an adult. I now know how a therapist should behave, and Catharine was neither ethical nor professional. I am begging anyone considering bringing their adolescent to this therapist to look elsewhere; I was turned off of therapy and terrified to attend for months after leaving her practice. In hindsight, I am horrified by my experience with her. I am leaving this review to help others who may not have my level of education or experience in the mental health field. I wish that I had had someone to tell my family and I that her practices are unethical and unprofessional when I saw her nine years ago.
