Do not use as a PRE. She says one thing and then does another, both my ex and I who have a high conflict case agree on this matter. She did not do an in-depth evaluation as supposed to be done in such a case like this. She rushed through things although I asked her not to, and did not listen to my preteen and teen wishes. My teen is a very well-spoken child and too grown for their age due to the parenting role that has been inflicted by the other parent. Dr. Henken said the child had no idea of what reality is and denied the wishes of both children, who both have been mentally abused, telling my teen that they had no say or choice until they turn 19. I am really good at reading people and was not able to read her, told my lawyer my instinct after the 1st meeting and it turned out to be true. Dr. Henken made the other parent look great. In addition she contorts what you tell her and puts in nonfactual items making it sound like you said it word for word. Just remember is my ex and I agree even though very high conflict, it says something. (We now have another PCDM and we have told the PCDM this as well).

Dr. Henken is an outstanding therapist and she had a profound and life changing effect on me and my children through a PRE. She upholds ethical standards and sees through the psychological warefare of a narcissist and calls a spade a spade. She is not intimidated by people with hot tempers and rage. I highly recommend Dr. Henken for anyone dealing with a narcissist ex-spouse. She can cut to the core of the issues and free you from the wrath and expose the true villain. I am certain that all those that have provided poor reviews are those very individuals that she exposed and called out for the bad characters that they are.

‘Dr.’ Henken is a known extortionist when she is involved with court matters such as those relating to custody or parental evaluations. She is a self-serving, corrupt and dishonest individual who should not be charged with evaluating or even left alone with children. Henken has a history of collaborating with a number of other dishonest therapists and attorneys who ‘fix’ cases in return for cash. Henken has no problems with misrepresenting the facts, distorting information, inventing pathologies that do not exist if she can, in turn, derive some financial gain. If the court asks to appoint Henken to your for any custody issues, you should run fast and far.

I support some of the previous reviews attesting to Dr. Henken's greed and unprofessional approach in dealing with clients. Her primary concern is to rack up as many billable hours as possible, even if it means traumatizing a patient. Dr. Henken will create or propose nonexistent pathologies for the sole purpose of generating more revenue for her practice. Her methods for dealing with children often cause trauma and create more problems than resolution. I would recommend not visiting this therapist

Dr. Henken's primary concern is for her own financial well-being. She is well connected with several other corrupt and self-serving therapists, legal firms whose sole mission is to generate as many billable hours as possible. The safety and welfare of your child is not a major concern for Dr. Henken. If I knew what I now know, I would never have visited this therapist.

She goes out of her way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I couldn't believe how professional her office looked. It was very obvious that she took pride in the office's appearance. It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen. Her charges were very fair. The level of care you get is outstanding. I was very comfortable the entire time. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit.

Extremely unprofessional. Dr. Henken is entirely lacking in insight. She gets her facts wrong, can't read cues, and has an almost complete absence of intuition. She doesn't relate well at all to children or infants, and cannot read their cues.

Because of her lack of empathy, it is dangerous to leave infants or young children alone with her. Any parent who must complete a Parent Child Interactional with her should request a police escort for the children to ensure their safety.

You can not believe how unprofessional this person is. She doesn't follow up on her interviews and appears to have a agenda against men. Also makes ups comments to the court that is close to character assassintion.
