Kathryn Kaire should be Kathryn Care cause she really does care. She was great during my custody evaluation and I would recommend her without reservation. Her recommendations were fair to the situation. She did not give me everything that I wanted but wrote her report citing what evidence she saw. My ex will argue the exact opposite but for me the evaluation report meeting was 2 hours of validation and vindication. She cited the faults that I had and I agreed with what she said because she was trying to be honest and fulfill her role of presenting her findings in the most unbiased fashion possible.

Kathryn helped me overcome the fears that plagued my life due to childhood trauma and an abusive 18 yr marriage. I now have the skills necessary to manage my adult life on my terms and I am no longer a prisoner of my past experiences.

Do NOT recommend, My experience with her was disastrous! She did not do the job she was paid to do and she was very sloppy in her work. It was a total waste of my money, the court found her report not credible and troubling!!!

Hi my name is Kelly Clark. I have no problem putting my name on this complaint. I feel everybody who considers or uses Kathryn Kair for a custody evaluation needs to be enlightened about her un clean, un even handedness and female biases in her evaluation services.
In my evaluation she used the following tactics (plus more) to control the outcome.
1. She ridiculously disregarded 100% of all evidence that proved opposite of any hear say accusations that she fed off of. This included over 300 hard pieces of clear contradictory evidence.
2. She refused to interview the closest people to me or the children including their own grandmother.
3. When interviewing people she controlled all questioning and would not let people bring forward things she didn’t want to hear or address. The conversations also had almost nothing to do with the children or their best interests. Conversations were mostly targeting from Kathryn about money, drugs, lifestyle and other hear say accusations of which in her final report she couldn’t even substantiate from the people she interviewed. These accusations then in affect became Kathryn’s accusations in her report and had no merit. I was very surprised to see her make written accusations of things she couldn’t even substantiate in her own report.
4. She refused to go to the environments in which the children lived unless I had a concern for their safety such as mold growing in their mother’s house.
5. She refused to interview the children more than 1 time while with each of us which was only for 20 minutes. This was not an evaluation about the children at all it was a targeted campaign. She also refused to bring the children back in for clarification or follow up investigation. I’m sure it’s because she knew the children were telling it like it was and it would work against the outcome she was painting.
6. She took the kids firm stance on wanting to live with me and turned it into “THEY MAY HAVE BEEN BRIBED” in her report.
In the end, I ended up with an easy evaluation to overturn because it was so ridiculously built without bases. Ironically this process never needed to unfold because my ex- wife contacted me and wanted to settle immediately after Kathryn’s report was done. She and her husband told me they felt bad (sick) from my position when reading it and in turn knowing who I really am gave me custody of the children. I praise my ex-wife for coming out and doing the right thing against something so unjust.
I expect when Kathryn reads this she will come up with some psychological analysis towards me (or claim I am on drugs) to justify why I am complaining, even though the rigorous psychological and drug testing she put me through came out clean. That or she will resort to acting like she is someone else and defending herself from a third party position. Either way, whoever is reading this has the facts and that’s all that matters. She obviously (even as a psychological professional) has a problem that she herself cannot even see.
No true professional would ever do this there was no level playing field in the process. I “CAUTION” everybody it could hurt your case either way, even if she recommends in your favor. I am not sure how she sleeps at night. I wonder how many children she has hurt and changed their lives in the wrong direction, by not being professional enough to extract evidence, weigh out hard facts and give a level and fair evaluation.
I am contemplating how far I go from here. I have my kids and I am very happy. However, I on the other hand feel cheated. My options are to file a formal complaint (with supporting evidence), which I am sure I will do because she shouldn’t be a licensed professional. I also may take legal action and seek damages from several angles. Nobody can go through this kind of unjust evaluation and conclusion without emotional distress among other things. I however, am not one to seek restitution on others but at the least I deserve my half of the cost back and will at a minimum seek that. My ex wife is the one who hired this evaluator not me and I was not fairly served. All evaluators should act even handed no matter who hires them or interviews with them first. Kathryn Kair does not follow a professional standard by no means. I don’t even think she can grasp the concept of professional it appears to me she thinks she is above it all.

Kathryn is very bias and one sided. Not very professional or creditable. She doesn’t look at evidence that is supplied to her. She leans heavily towards the female side.
