The Ranch is not a safe facility to place your loved ones. My 61 year old cousin Gilbert Borquez was assaulted by a convicted criminal, David Decenzo, while a resident. Gilbert died on Father's Day 2016. There was a cover up by all Ranch Staff to protect the criminal, but most importantly, to protect themselves from liability. The criminal claimed self-defense; however, the corner's report listed "Homicide" on my cousin's death certificate. The criminal dude listed above stated that he felt threatened. He would know exactly what to say. He's a career criminal! NOTE: How can anyone with a history of 3 prior assaults, including on a Corrections Officer, feel threatened by a 61-year old fail man?!?! It was all a lie! The Ranch is under investigation over my cousin's death. Not a good place. Do not trust them. Their facility looks nice but there is more that goes on in that place.
