I had a horrible experience with Ms. Perlin. She treated me dismissively, was very rude to my mother, kept me waiting and more than that, was just a terrible therapist. She insinuated that I was lying about having been raped and when I appeared visibly upset, smiled and said she was "sorry that I felt bad." She also had to Google bipolar disorder and she struck me as someone uneducated, unprofessional and profoundly judgmental. It was a real waste of $20. I'd recommend that anyone with depression problems go somewhere else (though that's not easy in Princeton--very few insurance-covered options, which was the only reason I ended up in her small, dingy office).
