Dr. Magulac is an extremely competent and caring physician. Our family has seen him and known him for over 12 years and he has the most uncanny ability to heal and get the train back on track. You can trust him completely. I don't know what was going on with the other reviewer but the truth about Dr. Magulac is highly missing from their 'review'.

Dr. Magulac has become synonymous in our home for incompetence in the psychiatry industry and its ugliness! We took our 6 year old son to him thinking that he would take time to understand our child's needs and give us some directions and feedback. Instead, he was quick to give pointless reasons and immediately put our mildly autistic son on Adderal! It turned out to make our son behave in ways that were dangerous and inexplicable! For a child who was just the quiet shy type, having extraordinary memory powers, and never missing his routines, he suddenly got lost in school, could not find his way back into his own classroom, appeared zombie like in classes, and we almost couldn't recognize him! We had to immediately stop all medications and decided to homeschool our child! Who puts a 6 year old on Adderal on his very first visit to the doc, without taking a second look at this child?! Dr. Magulac is a sham! He and all the other school psychologist/specialists, psychiatrists, resource specialists, and special ed teachers have only one thing in mind - how to keep their cushy jobs and keep their fundings coming! They said that our son would not go to college, that he was autistic and would not achieve anything. Today he is a strapping college graduate who studied on scholarships and has achieved everything that these good-for-nothing witch doctors said he wouldn't!

Too eager to medicate a child. This Dr. does not even recognize the side effects of his own prescribed medications. When my child's behavior got worse, another diagnosis would be added to the previous, and another medication prescribed. Finally he was admitted to an outpatient psychiatric program. That is when I finally came to my senses that Dr. Magulac had created a monster that was my son. I took him off all medications and had him evaluated. He is "NORMAL". My son told me that he finally felt like himself again. He is a now an active, healthy, social teen doing well in high school. If you are considering treatment by Dr. Magulac, be warned.
