Be prepared to wait! My daughter was scheduled for evaluation at Parkwood, which was around 2 hours from our home. We arrived at 7:15 in the evening and filled out the necessary paperwork. There were several families already in the waiting area so we settled in to await our session. At midnight we were finally taken, along with the remaining two families in the waiting room, into private consultation rooms. At 1 a.m. we finally confronted the staff as to why it was taking so long. The counselor told us that she came on duty at 11:30 p.m. and she didn't care what time we got there, she was only responsible for what happened after 11:30. We were also told that there were still two families ahead of us and it would be awhile yet. At that point we left Parkwood and won't be back. We got much better service at the McDonald's nearby that was thankfully still open at 1:30 a.m. My daughter was in tears as she really wanted help, but this clearly is not the place to receive it.
