I sought Ernest out to help my partner and I get through some very difficult times. While a member of Aetna he refused to go through my ins for the initial consult and demanded I pay $160 cash only. He is legally obligated to bill my insurance. I was desperate so I did as he asked. Waited almost two weeks to hear back about a next session only to have to reach out to him to inquire. In doing so he asked for both my and my partners medical insurance (also unethical and illegal). When I pushed back on the double insurance he agreed only to use my insurance to "make me feel comfortable". In the second session Ernest was rude, aggressive, condescending and consistently shouted at us throughout the session repeatedly referring to how "he's been doing this for years and he knows how this story goes". End of session he asked if we wanted to move forward, when I told no he left the meeting without warning. I was left feeling traumatized!
