This is an agency that should not receive any government funding & should be shut down. I have experienced so many health rights violations; the so-called nursing staff openly shares client information with their adjoining Genoa pharmacy---confidentiality and/or HIPAA guidelines do not exist. It is as if the tech at CVS has open access to your clinical information, reads it at will, and acts as a person directing and conducting your treatment.

I would not send my dog there. The agency is staffed primarily by LPNs, who are pseudo nurses all lacking even the most basic competencies for psychological treatment. The agency consistently fails to meet standards for credentialing, is always on some level of non-compliance, and the psychiatrists they attract typically quit within days to a week. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid should close the agency for sheer malpractice. No stars was not an option.

Waste of time!! Run by unqualified and uncaring people!!! Dr. Lobo was the most uncaring doctor I ever met. Staff(Who were not qualified to make decisions) "recommended" the centerville clinic, which is an adult day care, and did nothing to help, just made me more depressed and angry. Executive Director, whom never met nor talked to me and refused to talk to me, claimed the clinic was my best option. This whole place was a joke and a waste of time. Thanks for nothing!!!!!

You know, I need to vent about Dr Lobo, OK. I'm glad I'll be referred to Centerville Clinic and hope I can go there. I hope I never see him again. When he said in a cynical tone "Have you ever worked?", I wanted to say "HAVE YOU?"

I began working when I was 12 years old. I mowed grass. When I was 17 and graduated high school, I joined the US Navy. Nobody ever gave me opportunities for anything else, although I made honor roll in school, no one ever offered me any chances of higher education.

So, I worked, sweated all my life. Unskilled labor they call it, but we who did such work considered ourselves skilled. I slaved for years at such work, fighting my mental illness and exhausting myself. I worked at gas stations, restaurants and factories. I breathed in toxic dust and fumes.

I developed callouses on my hands, muscles in my arms and legs. HAVE I EVER WORKED? My last job I worked for 20 years and I ended up collapsing in 2006 from a total nervous breakdown. I'd pushed myself too far and my mental illness caused me to attempt suicide.

The kind of jobs I've worked, some would never do, but I did them. I resent Dr Lobo treating me like that, I am glad he got an education, but apparently, he has no real education about life. I grew up with mental illness, my brothers and I and my sister all had problems. My brother killed himself when he was 17, I was 14 then. I attempted suicide a month later.

How can people employed in the mental health profession not understand what we go through? My mother found me in August 1970 after I'd swallowed a whole bottle of pills. She said "Don't die, I can't go through this again honey".

It's more than reading books about mental health, people, it's more than whatever degrees you have. There may not be a PATTERN, you can not throw every person suffering from mental illness into a category. We are all unique, at least I am.

So, may I suggest Dr Lobo, that you try to look at us and show compassion? The last thing I need is to be treated that way, it was disrespectful.
