DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAT TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!! I brought my cat in after going to two other vets thinking they could help her because that is all they help is cats. what a mistake. My cat stopped eating because her mouth was bothering her. Patti Gordon one of the vets there looked at her and wanted me to keep her there over night. She did all kinds of unnecessary procedures and put her through hell. She wanted to work on her and overnight went into six days of torture. When I brought my cat in her breathing was normal and when I brought her home she was gasping for air. Dr Gordon put a feeding tube down her, did many x-rays, kept putting her out and never told me what she was doing and how much it was going to cost. I received a call from Gordon the day I was supposed to bring her home and she was frantic. She said the cat was having a hard time breathing and wanted to know if she could take the fluid out of her lungs. They almost drowned her with fluids and her breathing was not normal after that. That night I got a call that I could pick her up the next day. When I went to pick her up I could not believe how horrible she looked. she had this feeding tube coming out of her and couldn't meow anymore. And they had the nerve to give me a bill for almost 1500.00. I got her home and she had some kind of a seizure. I thought she was going to die. Like I said she never had a problem with her breathing before. I brought her there so they could make her jaw better so that she could eat. Nothing was accomplished by going there. Worst mistake I ever made. My poor cat was like in a fog and still wouldn't eat. Her breathing got so bad I knew I had to do something so I took her to the University of Florida small animal hospital. They told me she was a very sick cat and that she was suffering. I had to let her go. The unnecessary suffering they put her through for six days all for the money. I would not take a mouse there. The whole bill had charges in duplicate and for procedures that I did not authorize. This should not be allowed to happen to anyone else.
