I was an established client for my very old dog when one Fri. eve she suddenly began to scream in pain .The recording by Dr. Thane said to call that # and he or his partner would call me back and either offer help over the phone or meet me at the clinic. I called at 7:30, 8:00 and 8;30 PM. I then gave up on getting a response. She screamed in pain for about 3 long hours before falling asleep exhausted. I felt trapped in the morn. I couldn't let her suffer again. I called and made arrangements for someone to come to euthanize her. When Dr. Young was at my home I said I had called the emergency line several times; she laughed and said, "Oh we were about to listen to it this morn". And with that my sweet little dog was dead.
