Took our dog in due to weeping eye. Given medication for eye for two weeks. Went back after two weeks for annual shots and asked that her eye be looked at again. Their response was: no - make another appointment. I said this is a followup of a previous treatment. Again their response :Too bad -- Make another appointment. They said they had back to back appointments, had an emergency -- so too bad for my dog cause they could not spare the time to look at and treat her eye. Seemed they are more interested in maximizing appointment fees rather than taking care of my dog.

When you are used to one way and one person for so long, accepting change is so hard. We had been going to Dr. Johnson for years. At first we thought, everything would remain the same when the new Dr. arrived. But it didn't. However, in Dr. Ashley's defense, I would want to run things "my" way if I that were "my" business. I understand some procedures changed, as well as med prices. AND, that office now has scales! :) One of my furbabies had an abcessed tooth, and we decided to get a second opinion. The price for the same procedure at the "other" place was so much more than BWVC. I'm very happy with Dr. Ashley and her staff. I would highly recommend Brazos Woods Veterinary Clinic.

One of the Dr's staff was very rude to me today. Will not be going back to Brazos Woods Clinic. The Dr. is very nice but but her prices are very high. Will be looking for a new vet Monday morning.

I couldn't believe how clean their entire facility was. It was obvious that it was cleaned at least once every day. They were ready for my pet and me right after we arrived. We spent less than ten minutes in the waiting room. I would go to them over any other veterinarian. I've never doubted their abilities. I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have.

I had used this clinic for all my pets for years. Dr. Johnson may not have been the most talkative person, but he did his job well and took very good care of my animals at a VERY reasonable price. Once Dr. Ashley took over it was a 180 turnaround. Their prices skyrocketed, they wanted to charge "new patient fees", the nickel and dime you to death, and they keep all the doors shut where Dr. Johnson never shut doors. It was always so much more welcoming and personal. The last straw was when I picked up a wormer pill for my cat and they charged me $15 when last summer it was $8 for the same pill. I have now moved to Anchor Road Vet Clinic and it's the best move I've made. Brazos Woods is going to be losing customers left and right if they continue treating people the way the have been since Dr. Johnson retired.
