We purchased a puppy from a breeder who uses Dekalb Animal Hospital. Two days before we picked up the puppy, Dr. Holt certified that the puppy was healthy. This was not true. The puppy was infested with fleas and ticks and had giardia. Two months later, we are still trying to get him healthy. As a result, we have incurred extraordinary vet bills, have paid an exterminator to try to protect our home, and our family and puppy have been put through unnecessary stress. I feel that the vet was "going through the motions" with this certification and I would use extreme caution before using this animal hospital.
