Our dog was choking on something and my mother took it to him. Had I known how unqualified he was to make a diagnosis I wouldv'e made her take the dog to another vet. He said she was sick and gave us amoxicillin after merely sticking his finger down her throat a little ways. This dog was a HUGE part of our family, and we trusted him. However, she was NOT sick, and she choked and died a few days later. I practically had to beat him over the head (which i wanted to) to get him to apologize for not thoroughly diagnosing her and taking her, who brought such joy to everyone around her, out of our family. I've no doubt that this guy enjoys animals, but I would never recommend putting something you care about's life in his hands as we did.
