Unbelievable heartless company. I was in a bind due to the day and time of the week to have my cat checked out. She was lethargic and not eating. The prognosis was not good based on their tests and initial research when I brought her in. Less than 12 hours later she died. She became ill so suddenly and it was overwhelmingly heartbreaking for me that she died so quickly and in pain. I took her in as soon as she died. I requested that she be cremated and ashes be returned to me. The receptionist checked me out and told me they would call me in 3 -4 days. On the 4th day, I had a feeling something was wrong. I had a friend call on my behalf and indeed my feeling was right. They had not even sent her to be cremated and that I wouldn’t get the ashes back for another week! I was and still am devastated. Accurate information is critical to the owners when dealing and mourning the death of a beloved pet. I advise anyone and everyone to stay FAR FAR away from this place of business.

We took Reese our angel to this hospital and was treated very well. The doctors tried to help Reese and we brought her home. We knew she was bad off and she got through that night. We called and asked what should we do and there is my only complaint....please tell people your honest opinion. It would help in making a decision to put a suffering dog to sleep! Some how i think my daughter got false hope and therefore Reese suffered tremendously!! I've taken care of this beautiful dog most of her life and it has absolutely devastated to see her suffer so bad, She is Joanne Blums dog and she was her grandma and grandpas also she lived with Grandma and Grandpa.I would just appreciate honesty the next time. We have another angel named Pepper, but she does have a bit of devil in her :) I hope that if she gets sick and is truly not able to go on, tell us the truth so we can do the best for our babies.Andrew was the one that helped her leave this world and he was so calming and he was very caring thank you Andrew :)

I just had a wonderful experience at this ER service. I was a mess when my precious dog, Toby, was ill. The staff listened to my concerns, and were very kind. The vet was awesome. Dr. Calhoun was super smart, and got directly to the problem. Toby is doing great. I would be skeptical of people who have 'an axe to grind'. One person complained when he wasn't even at the clinic (TREY). My beloved Toby is doing better because I listened to the vet and didn't squabble over shots or money. You can't go wrong with the vets at GCVSER. I was told that they have hired all new vets when the management changed, so don't go on past experiences.

I am so incensed at this clinic right now. My sister and her family lost their precious family member this weekend in the so called care of this clinic. Jack went in very weak and with a rapid heart-beat. The doctor did some tests, when asked about the specifics my sister was told they would give the information to their primary veterinarian on Monday. He was going to stay for fluids. About 8 PM, one of the doctors called to report things were going well, better at least, temperature was down, etc. Around midnight the vet called again to say Jack was gone. He did not give a reason as to what had happened. The vet did not offer a necropsy, instead told them that they would put him in the freezer so they could decide about cremation. Seriously, the lack of compassion. Then, today a day afterwards, they call to demand payment. Jack was 11 years old, it might have been his time. But the lack of empathy and concern for their precious family member is unforgiveable. This is their first family pet, Jack has been around for 11 years with three children. To treat customers in this fashion is unthinkable. I work at a veterinarian clinic in another state and I can tell you the information we received about this clinic is appalling.

I hospitalized my pet overnight because she wasn't acting like herself. She's an old dog and has a lot of arthritis, the vet said she was a bit dehydrated and reccommended that she stay the night on fluids and be given some pain medications. I agreed and left the medications she was on currently on. The medication was an oral anit-inflammatory. On the estimate I signed there was a miscellaneous medications cost which was explained to me as on the estimate in case they needed something else that was not expected.
When I picked her up the next day and received my bill, some of the miscellaneous had been used. I asked what they gave her that was miscellaneous and I was told it was an injectable form of the oral tablets I left with them. I asked why she'd been given a shot instead of the pills I left for her and they told me they were worried about a pill upsetting her stomach since she wasn't eating well. When I called the night she stayed there, I was told she was doing really well and eating great. I was told after about two hours on fluids she had improved a lot, perked up , and was chowing down. What I don't understand is that they gave her the shot late at night, after I had already been told that she was eating well. So I can't figure out if they were just trying to jack up my bill or if they forgot that I had brought the pills in also. Either way, they refused to refund me for the shot. I guess I did sign off on that, but I figured they wouldnt try to waste my money either.
