I absolutely love the Holistic Animal Healing Clinic. I took my 12 year old and very arthritic Australian Shepherd there for a chiropractic adjustment as recommended by my regular vet Piscataqua Animal Hospital. I got way more than just a simple adjustment. Dr Kat (what a lovely human being) evaluated her and quickly and came up with a plan to treat her arthritis and pain holistically through recommended herbal medications, regular chiropractic adjustments, and through a new anti-inflammatory diet. She is a new dog! After just one month her pain subsided significantly. She went from being perpetually stiff and cranky to actually playing like a puppy with other dogs again. It brought tears to my eyes seeing it. She is so much healthier and happier now! And much more energetic as well--and even her fur turned shiny again after years of using rimadyl which unnecessarily taxed her liver. Dr Kat is truly gifted with animals. In fact, everyone at the Holistic Animal Healing Clinic is lovely. I highly recommend them. If you want to give your dog the best treatment out there, there is no better option.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Downey and her staff ever since they opened the Exeter office. The staff there go above and beyond and they really care about the animals and their owners. Dr. Downey's holistic approach is much more intuitive and targeted to what is really going on with your pet, vs. just throwing drugs at a condition. The personalized care you receive there is beyond compare!

They Doctor and her staff made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience go going to the vet that much better (if only are PCP's could be this good with their patients). I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them and I know they gave my oldest dog an extension on his life so that he could enjoy life, he was 15 when he passed. Our Hunter loved this office and all of my other animals see Dr Downey, and I would not take them to any other veterinarian. . All my questions were answered, and even today I have an older dog who requires a lot of attention, and she has worked with us to make sure he has all the proper care to help him live a happy life. He is 13 going on 6!!

I found their building within a matter of seconds, and I didn’t get lost on the way there once. The directions they gave me were very clear and accurate. I've never seen a vet be more careful or gentle than they were with my pet. My pet felt so much better when we left. I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated. It was obvious that they had kept up on their education. They knew about all the latest advancements in veterinary medicine, even ones that had happened very recently. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable.
