If I could select negative 100 stars then that is what I would enter.
After 20 years of entrusting my pets care with Dr. Laporte first at his Poway location, and then his Julian Vet Hospital he shuttered both locations, no forwarding address, no response to emails or phone calls.
This is extremely serious because one of our dogs has very bad seizures.
There was not even any signage on the doors or windows. The staff and vets are simply gone
I have filled a formal complaint against Dr Laporte via the CA State veterinary medical board.
I encourage everyone else who been a patron of either or both of those locations to do the same!

Dr. Schultz, Chelsea and Sidney went above and beyond for my dog and I when he was very sick. Very kind, very patient, checked in all along the process, okayed everything with me before proceeding...follow up and advice top-notch. So relieved to find such a good vet only 45 minutes from where I live in the desert.

This is the worst vet in the world! I brought one of my cats in there a few yrs. ago. The doctor charged me $1100 but wouldn't provide the larger hospital that my cat needed to be transferred to with their lab results. Last week we had to put my darling littlr dog, Q, down because he had cancer and my husband brought him there. The vet charged him $100 and told him it would be $45 more if my husband wanted to stay and hold him while they put him down. After, they brought my dog out in a bag plastic trash bag. THEY SUCK!!

This is one of the friendliest and most caring group of people you will encounter. They love all animals and their actions show their dedication to animals. Definitely worth a visit.
