I love the Vets here. They are very caring, knowledgeable and truly treat each pet with love and attention. They are remarkably cheap compared to most vets. My only complaint is that they do not take appointments and their waiting room is very small for a walk in system. It is first come-first serve excluding emergency walk-ins. You can wait anywhere from 30mins-2.5 hours. My time is valuable too. Taking a day off work to go to the vet is not practical.

What an amazing place, they made the worse situation, into life saving. From the moment we went in they treated us like family. Trust me when I say when I called a 100 times a day to check up on Peggy Sue, they always treated me with kindness. Our English Bulldog ate a nerf ball and it our stuck in her lower intestines. They had to do surgery, they always was a great cost. They most definitely won our business.

I have been a client at this establishment for over 2 years and never had a problem until recently. I needed to purchase a product from the office this past Saturday. While on my way to the office, I realized that traffic was causing me to run later than anticipated. The office closes at 11:30 am on Saturday and I was afraid that the staff would be gone for the day when I arrived. I called the office to let them know that I was on my way but would be a few minutes late and to see if someone would be available to help me. The woman who answered the phone immediately put me on hold before I was able to state the reason for my call. I was on hold for approximately 15 minutes before I just hung up since I was only a few minutes away from the office. I arrived there at 11:33 am. There were cars still in the parking lot and I saw people inside. I knocked on the door to grab someone's attention. After the third knock, a woman came to the door. She did not open the door. She spoke through the glass and asked how she may help me. I explained to her that I needed to purchase an item from inside. She told me that I had to come back on Monday. I told her that the visit did not require my dog to see the vet and that I just needed to purchase a product sold inside. She apologized (sarcastically) and said I needed to come back on Monday. I am beyond disappointed in the customer service that was given that day. I do not understand why I wasn't allowed to come inside to purchase that one item. Especially, when I can see people inside with their pets and staff attending to their needs. There was no need for her to be sarcastic and making her disinterest in my request clearly evident by not even bothering to open the door to speak to me. It is amazing how one person can ruin the way a business is viewed. Because of this one person, I have found a new vet for my dog and will be taking my business there.

This is my family's veterinary center. Against their wishes, I went to a vet closer to my home and my dog's diabetes was not properly treated and she almost died. I took her to Kaufman and received MUCH better care from Dr. Brown. Will forever make the 1 hour drive from now on!

We were there today and as the last time, Dr. was awesome and very friendly. Front staff was very nice also. very caring and not pushed thru the office. Thank you all for your great service Abby was happy.

I have been a long time patron of Kaufman Vet center. I highly Recommend Dr. Brown and Dr. Prow. They are both very compassionate about my animals. However there are (2) New personnel that work there that will never touch another one of my animals. (1) Male and (1) Female, both look of the Hispanic origin. They both gave dogs of mine, vaccinations into their spine. Of course that hurt my dogs a lot and they reacted as such. I have never been so unnerved in my life. I will continue to go there-but only to see Dr. Brown and Dr. Prow. I spend anywhere from $5,000-15,000 a year on my dogs at the vet. I care of them as my children. No-one, lacking competence will hurt one of my babies again! So be aware, not everyone there needs to use your dog for training purposes!

I recommend this vet for anyone that is close enough or that doesn't mind driving out there! I live in Rockwall and drive out there. I have used them for several years now!! They were so patient and genuinely concerned with my lab. They offered to observe her while she was not eating. This went on for a week and the bill was nothing like the bills I have received in the past with in town vets!
