I would never suggest this vet to anyone. If you love your animal this is not the place to go. They do not believe in letting older dogs be. My dog was put to sleep when we were on vacation. We had taken him 3 or 4 weeks before for his vaccines and exam. We did not want blood work because he was turning 14 this year. He slept a lot but still spent good time with our family, loving on our children, getting the mail with us. Our dog sitter took him to the vet when we were unreachable on a cruise as she was hoping to get him a b12 shot and something for pain. They wouldn't do that for him unless he had blook work done. Clearly his blood work didn't come back well. He was an older dog. They told my mom he either needed to be put down or get a blood transfusion and be hospitalized. He was not taken to them because he was acting sick. He was not eating a lot. When you are older and sleep a lot a human dr. will tell you we don't need as many calories. They put my dog to sleep as my mom knew I would not want him to be alone in a crate as an older dog. She was given the impression that he was acting ill as well and there were symptoms of illness that were apparent. Our wish would have been for him to go home with the sitter and wait for our return as he always seemed to perk up upon our return. I would give this vet zero stars.
